Gratitude Prayers

Gratitude Prayer is a crucial part of setting a grateful mindset for yourself in daily life. Gratitude Prayers are simple statements of gratitude for particular things in your life, like your health, your family, your job, food on the table, etc.

You do not have to be "religious" in order to start a Gratitude Prayer practice - feel free to direct the prayer to whomever you prefer: God, the Universe, some other Higher Power - or even to the inanimate world around you, as long as you hold a sense of gratitude in your heart while you say the words, either out-loud, or to yourself. The video below is a perfect example of a gratitude prayer in action:

Another great resource on this topic is the book "The Magic," by Rhonda Byrne. In it, Byrne explores how being grateful for even the smallest of beneficial things can bring you a better sense of appreciation for the world around you. It is essential reading for anyone trying to seriously develop a daily gratitude practice:

"The Magic" covers the
topic of Gratitude,
and how it increases
abundance.

Prayer Beads

For thousands of years, people have used prayer beads to worship and give thanks for the good things in their lives. From Mandalas to Rosary Chains, beads have been an integral part of the daily gratitude practice for a very long time. Some people have even made beads specifically for modern-day prayers of gratitude:

Prayer Beads, like these Gratitude
Beads

blessings
and give thanks.

Gratitude Stone

A Gratitude Stone is an item also used by those who practice daily gratitude as a reminder to be thankful for the good things they have in their lives. It is simply a rock or a pebble, usually polished, and occasionally engraved, which the user will carry in their pocket, and hold while meditating on their thoughts, hopes, and dreams.

This Gratitude Stone, or Gratitude Rock,
is a portable reminder to the power
of Gratitude in everyday life.
